AA Breakdown Cover Options: 

Roadside – This is the minimum level of cover and provides assistance if you are broken down away from home. Our aim is to fix your vehicle and get you on your way, but if we are unable to do this within a reasonable time we will provide a local tow to the nearest suitable repairer.

Relay – Regardless of where you break down on the UK mainland, if we are unable to fix your vehicle or arrange a local repair within a reasonable time, we'll transport you to any mainland UK destination of your choice.

Home Start – One in four breakdowns occur at or near home, and this service provides assistance in these situations. Again, our aim is to get you on your way, but if we are unable to do this within a reasonable time we will provide a local tow to the nearest suitable repairer.

Relay Plus – If we can't arrange for your vehicle to be fixed within a reasonable time, Relay Plus provides onward travel options to help you complete your journey. You can choose from either a replacement hire car for 48 hours, or overnight accommodation, or onward travel expenses. Relay Plus can only be chosen if you have selected Relay.
